My daughter has Dysautonomia, as well as ADHD. Because Dyanavel also acts as a vasoconstrictor, it has made a huge positive impact on my daughter's quality of life; her GI system works better, headaches are minimized...she also gets a quality ADHD medication. The only problem we have is that the medication sticks to the pharmacy bottle, and runs out days too soon. This is concerning.

It worked the first couple of weeks but now I get depressed when I take it. I don't know if it's because of the medication itself or because I still feel unsuccessful when I take it.

I was prescribed this medication before going to college. My doctor recommended this medication because it's easy to split the doses so it would be more flexible for me with my classes and extracurricular schedule. The issues I've had so far are that 1) it's a liquid that tastes bad and 2)it makes me crash really hard. These two issues combined make me reluctant to take it because it's a miserable process. It does help with my ADHD, but it's just not for me. I do understand how this is a good medication for children, or anyone who is unable to swallow pills, but I've always been a pill swallower ever since I was a kid, so liquids are just too difficult for me.Read More Read Less
