side effect: mom has been using this for about 5 months. She was in hospital because she was belching, had gas, chest pain nausea. They ran test and ruled out everything but a possible hyentel hernia. After 3 days in the hospital, she is still having trouble, and can't eat. I pulled all her pentoxil. I liked her taking it because she would allow me to put oil on her dry legs and she didn't complain. I don't know how long it will take for her stomach to settle down.
