I have been on this for about 6 months. In the six months I have had light bleeding that lasts almost the entire month. Then I have my full period and would stop bleeding for maybe two or three days, but would always go right back to bleeding lightly here and there throughout the month. It has caused my Ph levels to be thrown off as blood increases your Ph. I have had horrible weight gain and acne...

I have been on different birth controls, on and off for 6 years. This is the worst birth control I have used. I was only on it for 3 weeks, I gained 5 pounds. I became overly emotional, my breast were so sore always. I found out I was actually allergic to this medication. I had extreme nauzia, dizzyness, blurred sight, light headed, shortness of breath, bloating, sweeling of face and toungue and h...

My appetite has been crazy since I've been on this med. Also, my mood swings have increased and I have bad hot flashes. Very irritable and tired all of the time.

Before this, I was on a "low-dose" BC which was terrible for me; I had my period about 3 weeks out of every month, for several months. Then I switched to Levora and have had ZERO problems. Period is very predictable (Monday of placebo week, +/- half a day). I would suggest this pill if low-dose pills aren't working well for you.

I have tried about 6 different types of Birth Control. This one worked fine with no mood swings (unlike the others I have tried) but I gained about 20 pounds and had the worst acne ever! I did like that my menstrual cycle was short though.

My biggest problem was being exhausted all the time. I stopped taking this one and was immediately more alert.

I take this pill to regulate my menses. I sill have a heavy menses, but it last for 1 week out of 4 instead of 12 straight weeks. I have tried two other types of brands. The shot had me crying all the time with increased bleeding. with the pill I had breakthrough bleeding; bad for my sex life.

I started having extremely long & painful periods about 5 yrs ago. I tried Yaz and hated it. I was bleeding all the time. I was reluctant to try this new pill, but I love it!! My periods have gone from 7-10 days and being so painful I can barely function to being only 4 days and very light. Also, I only have to have a period every 9 weeks. I love it!! No breakthrough bleeding, no acne, no mood swings, no weight gain, sex drive still healthy and strong, and no babies for me & my hubby until we're ready. It's the best pill I've ever taken.Read More Read Less

I absolutely love this birth control. I take 12 weeks of this pill before having a period. I had no side effects, no breakthrough bleeding, no weight gain or breast pain. My periods are shorter (8 days to 3-4 very light days).

This is the first pill I've ever taken, I'm 20 and healthy. I have been on it for almost five months. At first I was very emotional allll the time and I am one of the most mellow girls you'll ever meet, now I rarely am and I'm back to not PMSing. My periods were lighter from the beginning but it took a few months for it to start coming on the same day.Now they are very light and last only 4 days. I have fibro cystic breast disease and have noticed my boobs hurt for the week right before my period and the FBD symptoms are more frequent. My boyfriend noticed they have gotten bigger and I have luckily not gained any weight. Overall it's not too bad if you stick it out in the beginning. Read More Read Less

Wow... am I the only person who actually likes this? The 411: 28 yr old female, healthy/average weight, never been pregnant. I was prescribed Levora for two reasons: 1). Birth Control & 2). To stop / lighten my periods. My periods were notoriously painful & heavy, therefore I made the decision to "stop" them by taking the pill continuously. To date, I have had approx 2 periods in the past 2.5 years. I tried the same methodology with NuvaRing & OrthoTriCyclen and some other generic (which started with a "d" but I forgot the exact name). I'm no MD, but I feel that these were not strong enough to serve the purpose that I desired, which was stopping my period. I spotted & still experienced some moodiness. *Personally, the ring was the most craptastic of all. I don't have any of the discharge or moodiness. (More than likely b/c I take it continuously). I kid you not, I feel great 24-7. As for weight gain, I feel that's sort of hard to debate. Sure, did I gain weight? Yes, but with most birth control (at least in my experience) it's expected. But nothing a little bit working out can't remedy. :) Read More Read Less

I've been on this pill for 4 years and my period got lighter but i have horrible discharge from this. I am some what moody also pre-period.I also developed a large ovarian cyst (larger then a grape fruit) and i had to have surgery to remove it. my OBGYN thinks it *might* of been caused by this pill but there is no way to be sure. They found the cyst running test due to my gall bladder failing.

I have been on this pill for only a little over a month and I do not like it at all. My breasts are very sore, too sore to even touch and I'm always moody. Not to mention the discharge. My acne has also gotten worse and I have no desire to have sex at all. I do not recommend this birth control for anyone.

I had no side effects at all. I went from having 7 day periods to 4 days. They also became more regular, and my super heavy days are now light days. I have been very sadisfied with this- much more than the Yaz that I was taking. Plus- no baies...always a perk!

I have used a couple other types of pills. This one is my least favorite. I am moody, bloated, my breasts are extremely sore and I have no desire to have sex. I have discharge that is so foul I have to shower 2-3 times a day. This pill is AWFUL.
