I have had ADD my entire life (I'm 30), starting treatment with dexedrine in kindergarten. I've tried literally every ADD drug there is except Zenzedi and Desoxyn (methamphetamine hcl). I've even tried modafinil. Generally people respond best to either the methylphenidate or dextroamphetamine class of ADD drugs. I respond best to dextroamphetamine. Instant release has worked better for me. Mydayis takes 4 hours to relieve my symptoms and only lasts about 8 hours. Instant release generic adderall is my preference, mydayis has a tendency to give me more side effects than relief of symptoms or better management of my condition.

I am very agitated and anxious on this new medication Mydayis, upsets my stomach. I will be switching back to Adderall it is what worked for me and I didn't have those horrible side effects definitely helped me to focus 100 X better than Mydayis . I am not a fan of this Medication at all. I was on Adderall from 2004-2018 off all meds for a year than put on this horrible new medication.

I just started taking this Mydayis not too long ago, I've been on it for about maybe 2 weeks and I can tell a difference. I was diagnosed with ADHD since i was 15 years old and I started out taking Strattera. Wouldn't recommend that drug at all. The longer you take, the more less effective that it became. I quit for a few years cause I just thought it was pointless, seeing how it wasn't doing anything for me and I saw no difference. Later on, I started college and I wanted to try something different, so I tried Adderall, though my doctor tried to recommend Vyvanse at first, I didn't adhere to her opinion. It was good to a certain extent but my appetite depreciated tremendously. Didn't like that at all and the crash at the end of the day was awful. Oh, the heartburn when taking Adderall was god awful after taking it for so long. Wouldn't recommend it at all. So then I switched to Vyanse and it was A LOT better, but once again, it just wasn't cutting it. Then my doctor told me about Mydayis. It works amazingly and the attention span and focus on it is quite different. It last three times as long as Vyvanse and Adderall. The only problems that I am experiencing now when taking it, is insomnia, but that is my own doing for taking it so late in the day, just takes self awareness on when I need to take it and constipation. I am not too sure on how to go about fixing this problem, but I can say, if you're going to be doing a lot of sitting around in class or studying, increase your WATER intake, fiber, and exercise! I'm still figuring out on how to go about these problems and how to make sure that constipation doesn't reoccur. Other than that, this medication is pretty awesome! I recommend it to the full extent. If you need help paying for it, there are programs that will help you pay for this medication in full! Hope this helps someone!Read More Read Less

I feel as if the medication helps me to focus and reduce my ADD symptoms but the crash that accompanies my taking of the medication is sometimes debilitating. Not to mention it works as an appetite suppressant and I sometimes for days without eating. I’m unsure if maybe I have too high of a dosage but I had the same issues with Adderall so maybe it’s just me...

I've even tried modafinil. Generally people respond best to either the methylphenidate or dextroamphetamine class of ADD drugs. I respond best to dextroamphetamine. Chemically Vyvanse, dexedrine, and Zenzedi are the same with just different absorption. Adderall is 80% dexedrine with 20% levoamphetamine, which is more physically stimulating than dextroamphetamine. I personally don't like Adderall that much. If you are like me, have ADD, hate stimulants because of the crash at night and morning exhaustion, and need a drug that lasts all day and is smooth then consider Mydayis. I only wrote this to help anyone who's considering these drugs. I would never waste my time helping any pharmaceutical company with a review. Mydayis is unique and different from Adderall and the other dextroamphetamine stimulants because it has amphetamine in addition to other dex salts. Give it a try... If you have trouble with insomnia from taking it then your dose is too high!! Just drop it. Good luckRead More Read Less

As a 34 year old male, I have struggled with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, since I was 10 years old. At 15 years old, I started treatment for my ADHD, with Ritalin or methylphenidate. Ritalin was not a good choice so I was prescribed Adderall, or Dextroamphetamine. Not until 1 year ago did I begin taking Mydayis. My ADHD symptoms have never been so well controlled with any other stimulant medication and Mydayis is the best treatment for me and I wish it was available years ago. I am just thankful the good people at Shire pharmaceuticals made a awesome medicine that will revolutionize the treatment for ADD and ADHD! Read More Read Less

After going through many ADHD medications, this is the one that has worked the best. I’m on 50 mg, and it lasts long enough for me to get through school and homework. However, I’ve noticed I have no desire to sleep, I feel more socially withdrawn, and I’ve been losing weight. I also have almost little to no desire to eat, and there is a small period of irritability when it wears off (for me, that’s about the 12 hour mark) The side effects aren’t too severe, but they’re enough to make you weigh the pros and cons of this medication.Read More Read Less
