I took six 40mg Nerlynx pills at once daily for a year. I lost a lot of weight going from 145 to 110. The only food I could tolerate was jello and I had to add half teaspoon of baking soda to water to drink it. After I stopped, 1 yr later, I had open heart surgery to repair a heart valve and a bypass. The heart surgery was not connected to the cancer or to Nerlynx but Nerlynx made it worse. I am free of cancer, heart is just fine. I was taken off Nerlynx 2019. After 2 yrs I believe I still have side effects. My right side cramps once in a while, my feet cramp up everyday. The worst side effect I get is everyday after meals I get heartburn. I still believe heartburn and indigestion is a lingering connection to Nerlynx. I can treat it but not fun having it. I hope there’s no damage to my stomach. To best describe what taking Nerlynx was like Is it felt like a Brillo pad was scrapping the inside of my stomach. Sorry to be so graphic but seriously that is exactly how it felt. No more cancer Is the best part. Wish there was an easier less torturing way to get rid of it.Read More Read Less

Could only take 4 daily to ruff on my stomach. I don't have a gallbladder and bad acid reflux this drug was harder on me than my big chemo treatments. I took it for 10 months kept getting worse instead of better with diareah. Kept getting weaker been off of it since May 1st of this year maybe will start feeling better soon.
