The serum was painful upon injection. Within hours my upper arm became swollen, itchy, red and hot to the touch. Two days later and the injection site is no better and I have experienced dizziness as well.

I recently received the first shot (7-1-18) the first day the spot were I received the injection was a little sore no other issues the second day my arm is really sore at the injection site, also have some mild fatigue on the second day. Other than that its been an ok experience. Much better than getting shingles. Gave everything 3 stars due to just getting vaccinated.

This vaccine should be banned, I am having terrible allergic reaction to the 2nd dose, it’s been 72 hours and I don’t see any improvement, my arm is red, it burns, swollen, injection site is hard, migraines, chills, body and joint pain. Do NOT taje this vaccine!! It’s not safe and it doesn’t guarantee you will not get shingles

Got the shot on Sunday 3/10/24 at 5:00. Woke up a little sore, but by noon felt like death. Left work and had to call out the rest of the week. I thought I had the flu until I started reading these reviews, now I know it's the shot. Am currently developing Shingles on my arm from the injection site to my elbow. It's only been 3 days so not sure how bad it's going to get. I only hope it doesn't take my life so Big Pharma can make money. That's all that matters, right? People are not important at all. Symptoms are nausea, body aches, night sweats, high fever and pain/itching where Shingles popped up. Wish I would have taken my chances at never getting Shingles than for Big Pharma give them to me deliberately. Hope everyone ?? gets well.Read More Read Less

Within hours of the first injection my arm was painful, itchy, red and swollen around the injection site. I began to feel nauseous and headaches. By day six the redness and swelling had extended as far as my elbow. Now on day nine the pain has lessened, the redness is fading but the swelling and itchiness remains. There is no way I'll have another dose.

I got the first Shingrix shot 9/15/23 and received my 2nd yesterday on 1/25/24 (4 months apart). I had just a sore arm with the first shot that would have been eased if I had taken a pain reliever. The 2nd shot is very different. I woke up and became very lethargic making breakfast, had to lay down several times, became hot and sweaty, diarrhea and lost my appetite. I’m still in bet resting and thankful I took the day off work. If this is the worst of it and I never get Shingles, then I’ll suffer a few days.Read More Read Less

First shot, not pleasant but doable. Waited a long time to do second (7-1/2 months). Although mostly over in about 3 days, it has been miserable. The usual flu like symptoms but also nerve pain in already vulnerable areas (where previously injured). Raised itchy welt on arm still present at four days and counting. First shot caused depression; second caused anxiety, anger. Hopefully it is about over and there will be no additional symptoms down the line, but I do not trust that will be the case. I believe the FDA was irresponsible in passing this vaccine and that the incidence of severe side effects has been downplayed or hidden. I would have chosen Zostavax again if it were still available. 75 year told female, diabetes but no other underlying conditions. Read More Read Less

The GlaxoSmithKline Shingrix vaccine gave me neuropathy and ruined my quality of life. It has taken my ability to work and support my child. It has been going on for over a year and a half. It is a daily struggle to get through each day. There are hundreds or thousands going through this.

I had the injection 14 hours ago and have a tiny fever, a bit of lethargy and a slightly sore arm only if I touch it, it is nothing. I’m sure there are some legitimate complaints, but they are in the vast minority, though you wouldn’t think so by reading these reviews. People have it too easy, they don’t know real suffering. This is nothing (it’s my second, same for both).

After getting the OK from my PC, Neuro-Ophthalmologist and Rheumatologist, I stopped by my pharmacist in early February, 2023 to get the Shingrix vax. Within 3 hours, I had to stop what I was doing and go lie down. I had overwhelming exhaustion with achey muscles. Within a very few days, I lost a lot of vision in my left eye. The flu exhaustion and achiness continued for about 3 months. When I consulted my PC, Neuro-Opth and Rheumy, they all concurred that this was all a result of Shringrix. I, too, wish I had fount this site, before taking what I thought was just another vaccine. I hope we all recover and pray all the time for a return of my vision.Read More Read Less

I received both doses and was extremely sick both times. Severe headache, nausea, fatigue. But after the second shot, I started having ringing in my ears. This was nearly three years ago, and it has not stopped. I never had an issue with tinnitus before the second injection. But it's been continuous and has impacted the quality of my life. I regret ever getting the Shingrex vaccines.

Took the Shingrix vaccine on 7-12-23 and woke up with fever, body aches, dizziness and fatigue. Injection site was swollen like and egg and hurt for days. I spent three days in bed and had low grade fever on and off for two weeks. My head ached constantly, and my stomach hurt after eating. As of August 2, 2023, I am still not feeling well. I'm still having headaches, fatigue and stomach pain. Insomnia has set in. I will not take the second Shingrix shot. I wish I had seen this site before I took the shot. Get well everybody.Read More Read Less

Received shringex vaccine within three hrs. I fell asleep in a chair woke up with Double Quadruple vision in right eye, needless to say I panicked, laid down for half an hour and it disappeared. This was very frightening, I’m afraid to get 2nd shot, please write a review if anyone else has experienced this.

There is no way I will go back for second dose. There is no reason for that level of misery from a shot.

I have had severe flu-like side effects and indication of actual shingles (burning painful rashes. These side effects emerged within one day of each of two shots and lasted for a week. If there is any way to avoid this medication i recommend you avoid it. Doctors and Pharmacists appear ill-informed, probably by the manufacturer. My side effects are real and a direct result of this shot, i have no doubt.

After my first injection I am in so much pain in my arm, neck and back. It's been 4months and I hurt so bad I can't sleep. I take muscle relaxers. Tylenol helps a little. I regret taking this vaccine.

Interestingly I have had 4 cold sores since I took this second dose! I had cold sores as a young woman but now I am getting one monthly since the vaccine! Not a great side effect! My first one was within a week of the injection. The morning nausea lasted months and I lost weight. Hmmmmmm

Got 1st injection, next day I was down all day with fever with terrible body and muscle aches. Gets better in a couple days. Four days after the shot my lips break out with cold sores. My whole upper and lower lip is sensitive to the touch. Another 5 day later I get an intense severe headache and go to emergency, since I never get headaches. It's 3 days later and I'm experiencing another debilitating headache. I still have a little weakness but hope the headaches quit before long. Don't think I'll get the 2nd shot.Read More Read Less
