Lowered my pressure from 30 to 12. The only downside is the skin under my eye has gotten dark. I use a concealer to cover it. My lashes get so long I need to trim them.

Haven't had a pressure check since starting Vyzulta a week ago so I can't rate effectiveness yet, but did want to say that I seem to be losing 1 drop for every drop instilled in my eyes, either because the dropper hole is too big or thru capillary action sucking a drop out when I turn the dropper right-side-up. That's a major concern given how expensive this medicine is.

Do the drops work, yes. No "other" effects noticed. Yes, it is lowering the pressure at 1drop per eye per day but @ $256.00 for only a 30 day script which = 60 doses (1per eye each day) at $256 cost (2.5 mg bottle) = $9.54 for 2 drops/day! No wounder all reports say the US healthcare system is broken. When you have pharma charging these fees, its obscene!

Two sides to every story. Forst effectiveness, IOP is at 12 in the right and 13 in the left. So the med works. The issue is the cost at $236, with insurance, $233 per refill. Refill six times per year. So the drug is expensive. The only difference I see between Vyzulta and Latanoprost is Vyzulta releases fluid through two channels instead of one... yet it is $$ more expensive. When I was on Latanoprost, my IOP measures were equivalent to V. My insurance is now dropping Vyzulta-so $236 a refill will be the cost I'm looking at, which is $1416.00 per year. Not happy.Read More Read Less

This eye drop definitely gets a 5 star for effectiveness(dropped my eye pressure from 22-12) in three weeks. Down side is sunken eye lids and vampire red eyes so side effects get 2 stars…overall I rate it 3.5 stars. Effectiveness is most important for me so I’ll keep using it until something better comes on the market.

Vyzulta was prescribed to me to decrease my eye pressure (Open Primary Glaucoma). It went from 23 to 12. My only issue with it is that I believe it increases my blood pressure. I don't have the problem with long eyelashes, but do have the dark circles under my eyes. Also, blurry vision.
