I just took my 3rd month dose 48 hours ago. Emgality has been a game-changer for my 30 year history of migraines. I had never taken a preventive treatment and saw my neurologist to consider prevention. I took Aimovig for 4 months and stopped because since the first shot my hair was falling out. Same problem with Emgality, I injected myself for the first time 3 weeks ago and hair loss began almost immediately. Going back to botox injections, no side effects with that.

I have taken 15 Emgality injections - one per month. One through 13 injections were a miracle. I felt the best ever. Shot 14 and 15 I have experienced migraine symptoms again. Mostly lightheadedness type migraines with mild headache. I am not sure what is happening with Emgality. I am in contact with my neurologist who prescribed Emgality and we are monitoring.
