I'm going to give my full tmi experience on this pill because when I first started this pill I looked up reviews and barley could find any. I started this pill 2 and 1/2 months ago. The first 24-48 hours I was extremely nauseous and throwing up on and off. After that I was just constantly nauseous for about a week. I was terrified and considered stopping the pill all together. After that first wee...

When I started this pill the first Month I spotted the entire month. Then I went 2 1/2 months without a period. When it was time for my period to come on again it came early, before that last week and the spotting lasted more than 30 days. I have stopped taking this pill immediately. I wouldn’t recommend.

I have been on this form of birth control for about six years now and it works great for me. One thing to note is you should be taking the pill within the same hour, every day. Through trial and error I noticed that when I am a few hours late, I begin to spot. It took about 6 months for my body to fully adjust to the pill. For the first few months, I was spotting irregularly and had cramps occasionally. My periods before this contraceptive were 10 days long with heavy bleeding and painful cramps. Now, my periods are 5-7 days long with normal blood flow and normal cramps. This pill worked for me but I'm sure everyone will have their own personal experience! Read More Read Less

I’ve had hormonal issues, awful periods and cystic breakouts my whole life and was recommended Simpesse for shorter periods and acne. I was on it for three years and each year on it my acne got worse and my periods became more irregular, I would have multiple month long cystic acne breakouts and full periods at random times. Sometimes my period was super light other times it was so heavy I would feel light headed from blood loss. Definitely could not get this pill to regulate anything for me and the cystic acne it brought on was much worse than anything I’ve experienced before.Read More Read Less

I've been on this contraception for 3 weeks. The irregular bleeding stopped, the abdominal pain/cramping stopped. In fact no menstruation flow. However, blood over clotting happened. I ended up in the er with irregular heart beat. Er Dr concluded to stop taking this contraception immediately. It has damaged my liver as if I am a heavy alcohol. I do not drink alcohol. Please do your research before committing to any contraception. Noone posted a review linking liver problems with Simpeese so here's your warning. Read More Read Less

The first 24-48 hours I was extremely nauseous and throwing up on and off. After that I was just constantly nauseous for about a week. I was terrified and considered stopping the pill all together. After that first week the nausea went away. By the end of the first month (when I normally get my period) I had no period at all. The end of the second month I didn't get a full on period but I did experience spotting during that week. Now I'm on my 3rd month of these pills and I am hoping to just have a normal, light, and short period with these pills. While on these pills so far though: I have not gained weight, however I do bloat like crazy on this pill after eating anything, My acne has cleared up a ton, I have not had any noticeable mood changes, and I have had no period cramps so far! Please remember everyone's bodies are different and your body may react differently than mine did!Read More Read Less

Something is not right with this pill. This is not the first time I’ve taken this type of birth control they didn’t have my normal brand so they gave me this one and as soon as I started the pack I started my period as if the pills were not effective.
