After two rounds where a nurse injected me, I began self-injecting. Couldn't be easier, and it saved me a 60-minute round trip to the doctor's office for a super simple 2-minute procedure. My syringes are mailed to my house (2 in a shipment) in refrigerated packaging: styrofoam cooler with cold gel packs. The syringes are made such that when the plunger is pushed all the way in, the spring-loaded needle retracts back into the syringe body automatically. How's that for safety?! By the way, the needle is extremely thin and relatively short; not intimidating at all. I barely feel it going into the fat roll of my stomach.Read More Read Less
