I’m a chronic migraine sufferer and my Dr wanted me to try this in lieu of the triptan i normally take. 50 mg did nothing for my headache and it was the worst migraine I experienced in the last 12 months. Up all night in pain and had to wait until next day to take my triptan that then knocked out the migraine within an hour.

Minimum 3-5 hours before any type of relief and even then it's not much. The side effects are terrible. Dizzy and disoriented. Feels like when you have the flue but without the body aches and temperatures. You just feel nasty. Takes a day to get better feeling just from the meds. Trips my PVCs (premature ventricular contractions) also.

I have had migraines for over 25 years with auras. My Neurologist suggested this as lately I have been having trouble with my usual medicines breaking the cycle. I am always weary of taking high doses and I noticed the smallest dose was 50 mg and she gave me 100 mg. I am only 128 pounds so I broke it in half. Thank God!! I read some of the some symptoms and thought I was prepared. I could not walk from my bed to my bathroom without seeing double. My heart was racing. I was feeling very strange and not in a good way. To top it off when I did fall asleep (still with a migraine) I had horrible vivid dreams). I can only imagine how I would have been if I had taken the whole pill! I take this nightly to PREVENT my daily cluster headaches and migraines. When taken like this it has been very helpful for me.

Nausea, stomach ache, tongue tingling, sleepy. 6hrs later migraine back. Horrible day. I couldn't tell if my sound sensitivity was the migraine or the drug. Never again.

They are not joking when they advise to not operate machinery! I would advise to stay in bed.... it made a dent in pain relief (first migraine med that has for me and I have taken MANY) but it’s a serious med! Hallucinations, change in heart rate, dizziness and nausea. But 12 or so hours of 4/10 pain down from 9/10.
