acute sinusitus. This medication started to work for me after one dose. No side effects so far.

Horrible side effects! Nausea, dizziness, stomach cramps, diahrea, headaches, sleeplessnes, mood swings. Took it for 5 days and my sinus infection got better, but the side effects were so bad that I had to stop taking it (with doctor's permission of course).

After 3 doses of this medication I broke out itching all over my body with a rash, along with a sore throat. Also after only the first dose, I experienced abnormal difficulty sleeping. I ended up back at the doctor, discontinued use of the medication & began taking benadryl to treat the itching & rash due to the reaction of taking this medication. It's no wonder the company is giving out free vouchers for this medication!

Although it cleared my infection, I had to stop taking it due to feeling a loss of control of my emotions, followed by feeling weak, dizzy and ready to collapse.

reaction with total body itching after 11 doses. required 4mg injection decadron and another steroid dosepak.

After 2 days(1 per day) (was not exposed to sun), I broke out in a rash over entire body.

This medication caused me to loose my physical coordination, changed my thought processes, and almost killed me!! This is a highly "TOXIC" antibiotic.

the scariest reaction I have ever had to an antibiotic...took it for 2 days and then had to change to another one because the side effects were awful...dizziness, tremors, elevated BP, nervousness. And I've never had any similar type of reaction to medication, ever.

Be sure to avoid the sun, was in the hot sun for a couple of hours broke out in a rash that lasted a couple of days.

This drug has made feel worse. The side effects are awfull. Feel sick to my stomach after taking it, Have the shakes, can't sleep.

I had terrible side effects, they were as followed: isomnia, dizziness, diarria, weakness and numbness on left side of body, stomach upset, headaches,nausea, vomiting, pale, elevated blood pressure...I took this medication for 5 days and from day one it started. I went to the emergency room and complained that I was having an allergic reation to this medication. They treated me, then two days later I experienced effects like as if I was having a stroke and then returned to the emergency room and underwent a variety of tests. I had horrible side effects. I woke up 5 hours after taking avelox with chest pains. It has now been 1 week since taking this drug. I have inflamed cartilage and tendons. In the possible side effects they list this as extremely rare. I'm not sure about that because I only took one pill and I am still paying the price. I have yet to find out if I will have any permanent damage. I would give this medication zero stars if I could.
