I have end stage gist. Was being treated with Sutent which was effective in containing tumor growth. Started qinlock five months ago and expected some great results govem the claims CT scan at four months showed tumours had grown extensively and continue to grow to the extent where continuing with qinlock given the massive cost was not viable and has been discontinued For me qinlock has been a bitter disappointment especially as my Sutent meds which were effective were stopped to go on qinlock I found qinlock side effects tolerable compared to Sutent and previously Gleevic with hair loss, increased blood pressure,weight loss and constant constipation the biggest concerns I hope other gist patients get a better result than I did Best wishes Read More Read Less
