This medicine works great so far. My GYN told me I might not have a cycle while taking it because it prevents ovulation. I have been taking it for 2 months and have not had a cycle since. I do have mild cramps when my cycle should start but nothing like before. I am impressed so far and will see if it continues to work as well.

Initially I had a hard time swallowing the capsule it always felt like I had something stuck in my throat but I take the pills out the capsule and it goes down fine. My periods are definitely lighter but they are irregular feels like I am on my period every other week. I think I would prefer a super heavy for 10 days and know I am done rather that bleeding every week.

I have been dealing with heavy bleeding related to fibroid since March of 2021. I had a laparoscopic myomectomy in June 2021 and the bleeding continued still after the surgery. I then at the time had just 1 small fibroid left that had not been removed at the time after surgery. My OBGYN then put me on Oriahnn and i started taking the pills morning and night. I have been on the pill since about 10 months and things have gotten worsen since i started taking ORHIANN. The heavy bleeding got worse to the point I will bleeding extremely heavily for 3 weeks in a row and passing huge blood clots... then it will stop for a week most then started againg for 3 more weeks. The fibroid went from 1 to 3 with 1 that got extremely big. I have also been experiencing bad daily headache, blurry vision, extreme weight gain, always feeling fatigue and bone loss density due to taking ORHIANN. My anemia had gotten worse and i have been getting iron infusion for the past 9 months. I had finally had another surgery couple of weeks ago and at my two weeks follow i will tell my doctor about stopping taking ORHIANN. So far ORHIANN had make things worse for me. Read More Read Less

This medication made my blood sugar and blood pressure so dangerously high. I am now on insulin. Patients beware!

Was prescribed for heavy bleeding due to fibroids. Not only did it not help but it got worse 2 months straight of heavy bleeding and severe cramps. Took 1 month after stopping this medication for the bleeding and cramping to stop. I really hoped this would work for me but it looks like surgery is the only option left.

I was put on these Meds 3 months ago- and I started bleeding right away- even though I already paid my dues to mother nature that month. I have given these meds my all praying for a miracle, I bleed for 7 - 10 + days and I get a week of nothing but a little discharge, and then right back to to full on bleeding. My Dr. push's this medicine, But everyone I spoke to said it does not work. My surgery is scheduled in 3 days. I do not recommend- I was praying the risk of all the terrible side effects was worth the reward- (NO period) but It has not worked for me. At all. Read More Read Less

I was put on Oriahnn for 6 weeks before I was scheduled to have surgery to remove fibroids. My doctor put me on this drug to help with heavy bleeding before surgery and to make surgery run smoothly. It was an awful experience for me. I have never experienced breakthrough bleeding in my life, being on this drug for two weeks and I experienced breakthrough bleeding that lasted for two weeks and then I started my cycle. So that's literally 3 weeks of bleeding before a surgery which actually was longer than my heavy cycle that resulted in the need to have the surgery. I did not make it the full 6 weeks, I stopped after 4 weeks due to the bleeding, HAIR LOSS- that can be permanent, and can continue even after stopping the drug. The hair loss was a huge pill to swallow. I also experienced a bit of depression (maybe due to my hair falling out) On a side note, I felt my doctor really pushed for me to get on this drug - I was sent 4 weeks for free which really was a red flag. I typically don't write reviews but it is really hard to find honest reviews on this drug online, so hopefully my story gives you some insight on true possibilities of drug side effects. Good luck. It is a miracle medicine. My life was a jail cell when my heavy period would start and take ten days to end! I started Oriahnn and had a period within two weeks and then nothing! What a relief! I had a bit of bloating when my period was due but it would go away. I kept carrying feminine care in my purse but never needed it. I have been on the medication for a year.

When I started this drug I moderate to heavy periods for 10-14 days. After 3 months I had heavy periods with bleeding every day and even though I am off the drug and using herbal remedies to lighten the bleeding it is still every day one month later. Do not recommend.

My GYN put me on this medication to help me with uterine fibroids. I will admit that it did reduce my menstrual bleeding, but by the third month my hair fell out and I gained 25 lbs. You could literally notice it, and when I was washing my hair, I could see clumps. I am working hard to regain my hair again, and shed some of the weight. I quit these meds after 3 months. I am done.

I have been taking this medication for a year now. My heavy flow has lessened but I have been bleeding for the last 16 days. Not sure what's going on there yet (when I get my labs back I will update). Prior to taking this medication, I had to undergo a blood transfusion and an iron infusion due to the severity of my bleeding/anemia prior. So I can say that it has helped with keeping me at normal levels as far as my anemia and iron thus far and has cut down how heavy/painful my flow is.

Before taking I had irregular periods lasting 7 days never more than once a month with painful cramps. Now I have them every other week still with heavy bleeding But cramping isn't as bad. My doctor said the bleeding is normal but hasn't given me a time frame for when these lighter periods will start! I have severe anemia and I don't think continuing this medication is a good idea for me I'm weaker than before super tired and can't get anything done. I've gone from period panties and pads to adult diapers best wishes to anyone else that tries this medication.Read More Read Less
