I have been on Lyllana patch for only 11 weeks, but I am already feeling the benefits! Around week 4 or 5, the persistent night sweats I had been dealing with for at least 2 years completely disappeared! Wish I had started this treatment sooner. My blood results indicated depleted hormone levels, so my doctor suggested this patch as an treatment option. I have to change my patch 2x a week and I also take progesterone each night. If find the patch easy to use. I was worried about it coming off in the shower or while sweating (I live in FL), but that has not happened. It is easy to apply and wasy to remove. I alternate sides where to apply it as directed in the instructions. The only noticeable drawback has been that my breasts have become very tender. My doctor told me this would happen. They feel somewhat fuller too, but it was not so fun going for a mammogram with super tender breasts. Regardless, that is a small price to pay for the relief I have experienced from the night sweats that didn't allow me to sleep. I also have osteopenia, so in a couple of months I'll he visiting my rheumatologist to check if this has helped my poor bone density exam results. Yesterday, I had my Rx refilled at my local CVS and when I opened the box (it is double sealed), it was empty! I took it to the pharmacy and now have to wait until Tuesday to hear from the manager as to what can be done considering it was a manufacturer error, not a pharmacy one. So ladies, always check your boxes before leaving the pharmacy! Read More Read Less
