I use this medication for Trigeminal Neuralgia treatment. I've had numerous surgeries and take other medications to help manage the pain. I haven't been taking Qulipta for very long, but I have noticed some relief in my daily pain attacks. I have fewer pain attacks than usual.

I was having debilitating migraine and persistent dizziness. These symptoms made it very difficult to function effectively on a daily basis. After about the first two weeks on Qulipta, I only have the occasional mild headache and the dizziness is almost gone. I have had zero adverse side effects. This medication has given me my life back and has been a miracle for me.

I started Qulipta 30 days ago and not one migraine or headache in 30 days. I have been suffering with migraines for 17 years and tried the regular preventatives and the ajovy shot which I couldn’t do by myself. Qulipta has been mostly positive. I’ve experienced mild constipation but no other side effects.

I am almost 59 years old. I have suffered with migraines since I was 13 years old. I have tried every type of prevention and medication to minimize or prevent them to no avail. When we moved to Louisiana 16 years ago, I have had a migraine nearly every single day. Some days I can work through and some I can't. My doctor prescribed Quilpta in January 2023. These last few months are the first time in 16 plus years that I have not experienced a migraine. At all. No slight headache, no tylenol, no triptans nothing. I cannot begin to express the relief and gratitude I have had taking this medicine. I feel like I have a life again and don't have to worry when/if the migraine will show up. Thank you, thank you, thank you!Read More Read Less

I started this medication without expecting much, because nothing ever worked. I only took half of the 60mg pill as a starter. From day 1, I woke up without the usual migraine threat, so that really got my attention. The days went on and I was headache free. The ta-dah moment was while driving, I came up on an ambulance and got hit with its lights (an instant trigger for me) and I realized it did not pierce my brain as it normally does. I discovered that all of my normal triggers were muted, not gone completely, but not as intense. I have remained on the 30mg. The only thing that really concerns me is the day that I missed a dose, I was hit with a migraine that was way worse than anything I'd had in years. Taking the pill mid-day seemed to slow it down but even Triptans could not get hold of the pain. I have not been brave enough to try it again but I worry that if I stopped taking this, would I again go through that. Unusual or bizarre side effects for me - The almost complete lack of "hunger", meaning I do not get hungry. I can eat just fine, but I have to remember that I need to, because that urge is gone. Gray hair is forming in patches along my front hairline, in my bangs. A LOT of it. Yes I know I'm getting old but this has showed up in literally just a few weeks so I can only suppose what/why its happening. My hair is growing at a rapid rate as well. Other reviews are saying constipation but for me it is just a serious slow down of the works. It does indeed feel like a knot forming in the gut. I have started using Miralax and it seems to help. This medicine works for me, no question about that. I just wish I could understand exactly how it does. Read More Read Less

I'm 36 years old and have suffered with chronic and episodic migraine since I was about 7years old. Qulipta has been the only med that has given me quality of life back. I was having a migraines about 2-3 times a week, but Q has reduced them to about 1/month (coinciding with my menstrual cycle, as I expected). The initial side effects (nausea, joint pain, fatigue) have subsided and I've now been on Q for just over a year. I have never been so happy with a preventative med!

I was having daily migraines before qulipta. For months I was miserable. I’ve been migraine free for nine months. This is the only thing that’s ever worked for me. I have no side effects.

I have had chronic migraine for 20 years. Qulipta did lower my migraine days - but the side effects are too much for me and im throwing in the towel. I was on it for 6 weeks. Week 1 terrible headache, exhaustion and dizziness. Week 2-5 no migraines (some headaches but for me thats a big win). I thought i would be fine with the constipation - but nope. It's like a constant knot twisting in my stomach, bloating that doesnt subside no matter how much fiber, magnesium or Miralax I take. I also feel bouts of vertigo that make me queasy. I'm going back to no daily med and taking nurtec odt on the onset. Read More Read Less

I've had migraines for over 15 years now. I've tried it all and have had no success. Started Qulipta and my migraines have diminished almost 100%. Downfall, the first month I was so tired all day long. Just wanted to sleep, but had to work. It was awful, I think that has subsided a lot and now I get tired, but not as much. I now take it late in the evening instead of the morning.

This is my 2nd review. I have been on this medication now for almost 9 months. I was having 2 -3 migraines per day. I have not had one since the day I started the medication. I only have very mild tiredness and I can live with that! I haven't gone 20 years without a migraine until Qulipta 60 mg. I love it! :)

Increasingly worse rash each day that started on the lower abdomen, moved to underneath the breast and now has present on the face. It has also rash my pulse much higher than it has ever been. If it weren’t for the rash, I would stay on the medicine as I have had nearly no migraine symptoms since I started it two months ago.

Qulipta is working wonderfully for me so far. Episodic migraine number is down to zero this month. previous months only a few per month. Prior to Qulipta, I usually experienced three to seven migraines monthly.

Some tiredness, but overall, no different from any other migraine medication. The big difference is that I haven’t had a migraine in 2 months. I have 2 or more a week and I’ve never gone more than a week without one in 26 years until now.

I suffered from migraine headaches for 30+ years. They got progressively worse and I was getting 2-3 migraines per week. I have been on Qulipta for 6 months, and from the day I first used it I have not had a single headache. It is a miracle medication for me! And I no longer have to worry about ending up in the ER during these trying times with an out of control migraine. I tell everyone I know, its worth a try. I have had NO side effects.

Nothing has reduced my migraine frequency as much with relatively few side effects. It does constipation which I didn’t know as first but it’s easy to manage now that I know.

I have tried at least a dozen different drugs to no avail for migraine prevention. Qulipta is the only one that works and after the first week, no side effects. I was a little queasy the first week or so. I take with plenty of water and a bit of food. Excellent medication.

I have been taking Qulipta for 11 months. It has significantly decreased the number of migraines I get per month but the side effects of constipation and tiredness are horrible. I’ve tried Miralax and that initially worked but my constipation has become increasingly more severe the longer I take Qulipta. I am going to have stop taking it which is difficult as it is the first migraine medication that has helped me.

I've had migraines for the past 40 years - varying from a few a month to where I was the last few years - migraines about 50% of the time. I haven't had a single migraine since I started taking this, and it's been a month. I do have to say that it was a battle to get this covered and involved multiple calls to the insurance, doctor, and pharmacy, but it is so worth it. A month without migraines hasn't happened in the last 40 years. No side effects at all. Amazing!!!
