I need +2.0 reading glasses for near vision due to age related presbyopia. I gave these drops a try and I had moderate results. Application was no harder than any other eye drops. I did not feel the sting others report, but you do know they were put in. After 15-20 minutes, my near vision improved enough to be able to read my phone text, though not with perfect clarity. Same goes for laptop/comp...

THE DROPS WORKED!!!! :D...... But only for a few hours... And I had to use them every day... And they caused me discomfort.... THEN I FOUND OUT THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO BECOME FREE FROM READING GLASSES!!!......My doctors educated me on LASIK and "Lens Replacement".... I HAD LASIK... AND ONLY HAD TO HAVE IT ON 1 EYE!!!.... AND I AM TOTALLY FREE FROM READERS. MY ADVICE: Try the drops.... But underst...

It simply does not work. I’ve been using for over two weeks now and it doesn’t help me at all. Not even a little. Also, insurance didn’t cover it so it was $85 out of pocket. Idk how this medication was even approved.

No headaches. Eyes burn for a bit and stay red. It used to feel uncomfortable to try to read something too closely, and that feeling is gone when I take these drops, but I don't feel like my vision up close is that much better, it's still somewhat blurry. Also, I feel like it's affecting my far vision and making it worse. Will probably discontinue use.

Eye drops are easy. Can see my fingerprints after using. I don't need it everyday. Two or three times a week. Don't need reading glasses except in low light.

I love vuity SO much… not only does it help me see in the dim light at work, I have always had large people and my eyes are so much bluer because it shrinks the pupil. I have more comments about my eye color than ever in my life ??

I’m 70 years old. Have had cataract lens replacement in both eyes. Paid extra for multi focal lens. Near vision is still very blurred. Headlights and all bright lights still glow and are huge circles. Used Pilocarpine Hydrochloride1% for a year. Got brow headaches and eyes felt terrible. Light problems were better. Switched to Vuity. Now have very blurred near vision and dark floaters. Doc added Refresh Relieva use 3 minutes after using Vuity. I’m not sure what options I have. Using nothing is worse vision. I wish I had my cataracts back.Read More Read Less

No impact on my up-close vision, but I lost my vision in the 3 to 6 foot range. I sure wish they had worked, but it made my vision worse.

It works!!! but with some caveats... For one, I can now read things I couldn't read without my reading glasses but the truth is that it doesn't work as well as reading glasses. Letters don't seem big enough even though I can still read them, I don't find my self holding my phone or anything I'm reading at the correct reading distance, which btw is 12 inches, but I don't have to stretch my arm all the way out to be able to read something either. My only real issue apart from the price is that once for the rest of the day my vision is dimmerized, indoor lights seems weak, underground parking garages feel extremely dark and practicing sports at night are not as consistence. I can do all my activities normally, including driving during the day or at night being very careful in dark places such as underground garages. So, I am using the drops 5 days a week when a don't participate in night sports; for outdoor activities I have not encouter any issues. I have not suffer any of the warned side effects so I would give Vuity and over all rate of 4/5 stars because of price and actual effectiveness. Read More Read Less

I used these drops one time and I will never use them again. I put the drops in and then went to work where I work on a computer. At first they burned a little and it seemed to help a little but I still needed my reading glasses to see better. Then about 2 or 3 hours later a dark line starting at the corners of my eyes started coming across my eye. My peripheral vision was completely gone and some of my regular vision. I was about to freak out thinking it was going to go all the way across my eye and I wouldn't be able to see. I closed my eyes and just kind of laid my head in my hands hoping and praying it would go away. I was about to go and get a co-worker to take me to the ER, but then about 30 mins later it started to clear back up a little. Then about 2 hours afterwards I was able to see again, but had a headache. That was so scary! I'm hoping there was no permanent damage, but I haven't had any problems since then. I will never use those drops again. The more reviews I read about them said it caused detached retina and floaters in some people's eyes. My advice, DO NOT USE THEM!!! It's not worth losing your eyesight. As much as I hate using glasses I will never use anything like this again.Read More Read Less

I only wear 1.25 or 1.5 reading glasses. I'm 51 and my eyesight was perfect and it just hit me about 2 years ago. My parents didn't wear reading glasses until they were in their late 50s. I hate glasses. So I thought I would give this a shot. No difference at all I mean maybe a slight bit but no I wouldn't try it, especially because of the cost I'm sure I can't get a refund.

I am a 62 female who recently had cataract surgery on my right eye. They give you an option to upgrade the lense ($3000) but since my closeup vision wasnt too bad I opted for the standard one . Totally regretting that decision because now I have to wear reading glasses all the time even to see my cell phone. I used to be able to bring things up close to read, or where reading glasses if needed. I am so mad!! Well since I have another cataract in my left eye, my dr said that if I upgrade with the expensive lense, that it would correct my near vision. I am still leary about another surger, but she mentioned that they have drops that could be a better alternative than surgery. Well I started 4 days ago and nothing but just a strained and tired eye! What a joke!! All it does is make my left pupil smaller. I hope I can return and get my money back!1 Probably notRead More Read Less

I waited until I arrived at work before I tried these and I am glad I did. I followed the directions and added only 1 drop per eye. IMMEDIATELY the burning began. Not stinging but legit burning. Then the headache. It was a migraine x100! I kept my eyes closed waiting for the pain to subside. It didn't. I was taken to the ER when they put me in a dark room (at my request) and added Proparacaine to my eyes. They just made the burning worse. Nothing was working to stop the pain. After several hours, the pain did lessen enough for me to leave the ER. DO NOT TRY THESE DROPS!!! Read More Read Less

So far, I've used Vuity about a dozen times and am 100% satisfied with the results. The first time I used them, it gave me a massive headache, but I was so blown away by my clear, up close vision, that I mustered up the guts to try them again. I'm so glad I did because it was only that bad the first time (I hear that's quite common.) Though, this definitely stings going in, I find that if I keep my eyes closed for about 2-3 min., it barely stings. For me, it takes about 20 min. to kick in and I know it's working when I feel a mild brow headache, for the first couple minutes. After that, I'm able to see without readers for about 6 hrs. My doc explained that this product is most effective for those who have a mild case of presbyopia, like me. (My reading glasses are 1.00, at most 1.25 in strength.) They don't work as well on my friend, who uses 2.00+ readers. I'm surprised at the amount of negative reviews, but everyone is different. As for me, they work great! Read More Read Less

I used these drops shortly before hitting the road. About 15 minutes into my drive my eyes got so blurry that I had to pull over on the highway, and call for someone to drive me home. Absolutely horrible!

These drops do a great job of taking away my need for readers. I had Lasix about 15 years ago and started needing readers about 3 years ago. The drops do sting/burn a bit for about 1-2 minutes after administration, but no side effects afterwards. The effect lasts about 6-7 hours for me, which is good for my work schedule. I have not tried using them twice a day. I do find that my far vision is somewhat reduced, so I avoid using them when I know I will be driving (it's not significant, just annoying). Overall I am happy with the results, wished they lasted a little longer and didn't sting. Read More Read Less

Wow! This is a miracle in a bottle. After reading the other reviews I wonder if the drug is more effective the earlier you start using it? I don't know, but for me it worked so well I didn't have to use it every day. I have not started using reading glasses yet (because I'm not ready to admit I need them!) But I think Vuity will help me hold it off for a little while longer. It does sting and I had no side effects. Sometimes if I teared up too much and leaked it out, I would have to add a tiny bit more, but it worked great for me. I'm so grateful!! Read More Read Less
