The soy immediately worked wonders for my hot flashes but seems to have caused diarrhea in the first month of use. I am going a week without it to confirm that it is actually the soy causing the stomach issue and diarrhea and not something else. Using process of elimination to see for sure.

27yo male with androgenic alopecia. For hair loss prevention, Ive been taking Soy Isoflavones in the form of a dietary supplement along with green tea extract twice daily (upon waking up amd before bed). Soy isoflavones are thought to bind with androgen receptors and help keep DHT out of the hair follicle and thus protect the follicle from DHT’s harmful effects. It’s also thought to increase equol levels which further protects against hair loss. Equol is the main ingredient in the relatively new italian hair loss product Trinov, which I have successfully used for a few months to arrest my hair loss. I have found that the combination of green tea and soy isoflavones achieve the same effect as Trinov which I have now stopped using.Read More Read Less
