I have panic attacks due to anxiety and this medicine works wonders. I have been taken off of it to try other meds but always end up back to taking tranxene. I recommend it to anyone with anxiety

Originally prescribed for what was thought to be Benighn Essential Tremor but later was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting MS after MRI. I do have a tremor with my MS and this drug has made it very manageable. I have been taking this for about 9 years.

After trying just about every drug out there adding tranxene has "cured" me for over 6 years now (along with quite a few other meds). I caught epilepsy, if you want to call it that, after viral encephalitis, and all the standard first try drugs didn't work and the the newer drugs had nasty side effects (usually the opposite of what they were suppose to be in my case). Only drawback I have is the pharmacy has to call my neurologist for every refill. I'd give tranxene a try, my next option may have been low dose phenobarbitol which I'm sure would have been awful.Read More Read Less
