I had severe cracked skin and bleeding from the cracks as well. I bought a tube of Epimide and a pair of all cotton gloves. I then applied it liberally on my hands right before bed then slipped the gloves on. Epimide goes to work will you sleep. I did this for two nights. Works wonders. I must tell you that when you apply it...it will burn, so be prepared to "take the heat".

This medication works very well and is the easiest to apply of any urea meds I have used. The only detraction is that is heavily scented with a flowery fragrance.
