I have been using Vaniqa now for 6 weeks. The reduction in facial hair being problematic has been remarkable! I find myself hardly having to pluck hairs anymore, which has dramatically improved the quality of my life. Vaniqa deliberately misled customers by failing to explain that one must buy 2 tubes of their product to qualify for the $50 rebate. I purchased one tube for $93.00 as a trail purchase, expecting the full rebate, but I received a check for only $25.00. It was not until I called the company (very long wait, by the way) that they explained how their rebate actually works. Be aware that “up to $50”...

I could only afford this for the first month as I lost my job, this was in August 07. I still haven't found a job so I have not been able to get back on it. I have PCOS and a full beard. It is not covered by my insurance either. I was looking online for my mom at the Latisse thing, and there was a lot of talk about using online pharmacies from other countries. So I looked up this on all day chemist and they have it for only $18 however I do think that shipping is about twenty dollars. And I don't believe you have to have a prescription for it. I just thought that I would let everyone know about the price for this. Best of luck!Read More Read Less

Plagued with facial hair that needed tweezing everyday. This is really expensive but I recommend it and will continue to use. I have used this for about 8 weeks and the effects came after 4 weeks and continue. I do understand the twice a day... for forever, but so was the facial hair for forever. Take your pick !!!

I have used this product and was very pleased with results--as far as removal of hair. However, after about 3 weeks, my face starts breaking out with like really big knots so to speak. I have read other reviews on this site and others but no one else seems to have this problem. It has gotten to the point where I would just rather shave than deal with the acne. Has anyone else experienced this? As far as the medicine doing it's job, I have to give it 5 stars.

I have tried many hair removal products but they would tear my skin away and leave my face red, broken out and looking very awful Vaniqa is very easy for me to use and it doesn't leave a mark on my face It's well worth it

I started using vaniqa last year and after a full two months my facial hair was much less noticable and much finer. I could tell it was working by the way my skin tingled when I applied it. Very gentle on skin. Then one month I couldn't afford it, the hair started coming back, and I have to start all over again. Very expensive, requires a commitment, but it works.

I have been satisfied with Vaniqa and want to continue its use, but find it so expensive that I may quit. Are there any generics out there yet that would better priced since my insurance does not pay for any of it?

Very effective within 7 weeks of starting. But: Trials seem to have been done over only 12 months, and hair growth is said to restart within 7 weeks of stopping application. So now I am faced with a lifetime on Vaniqa. What should I really do? Any suggestions? Or advice?

I have been using Vaniqa now for 6 weeks. The reduction in facial hair being problematic has been remarkable! I find myself hardly having to pluck hairs anymore, which has dramatically improved the quality of my life. I suffered for too long with unsightly hair and Vaniqa has not only retarded the growth of facial hair at an incredible rate, it has also been gentle to my skin and I can tell you that there have been no adverse reactions at all to Vaniqa. Another wonderful component to Vaniqa has been its compatibility with Meladerm, which I use as well. I started using these two products together 2 weeks ago and there have been absolutely NO negative interactions between these products. The Meladerm continues to fade problems due to hyper-pigmentation while the Vaniqa has steadfastly been eliminating the need to pluck unwanted facial hair. I am thrilled with Vaniqa and highly recommend it to ANYONE who suffers with excess facial hair in a daily basis. Stellar product and it's also compatible with other products as well. Vaniqa has completely improved the quality of my life.Read More Read Less
