Although I usually would take Claritin-D to treat chronic sinus headaches, I decided to try this (actually the generic version of it) this time around. It begins working quickly, draining the sinuses - have tissues at the ready - and continues to work for the 12 hrs it claims to work. The only noticable side effect I've had is dizziness, but it is quite annoying. Not your basic sea-legs dizzy, ...

This medication worked for me. I did have headaches after using it a few days. It is very drying.

It begins working quickly, draining the sinuses - have tissues at the ready - and continues to work for the 12 hrs it claims to work. The only noticable side effect I've had is dizziness, but it is quite annoying. Not your basic sea-legs dizzy, actual waves of can't-figure-out-why-the-room-is-spinning dizzy that doesn't get relieved by lying down. Dizzy even with eyes closed. I'm prone to vertigo (inner ear issues, I guess), so I have Meclizine on hand. I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS AN INTERACTION WARNING, though, and so I won't take the two simultaneously without consulting my doctor.
