I have cronic back pain due to an injury. I had surgery in March of 2003 to try to repair the damage, but it was not successful. So I have was prescibed Hydrocodone/APAP, and if not for this medication, I would no longer be able to work or have a normal life. (I also take Neurontin for nerve pain and Ultram for inflamation.) But due to those people who abuse such medications, it is hard to find a ...

Tris Norco 10mg keeps changing their pills to now feels like I'm taking ultram! Why is this legal they've been messing with it for a year now. The other generics are all worthless too so I won't even bother . Please people call FDA daily file complaints on their website as well as with Tris pharmacuticals call them daily make complaints , til they get sued and fined for this. This is NOT HYDROCOD...

Knocks pain down 80%, but does not take it away all together. Notice decrease in my back pain within 30 minutes of taking. To me that is worth it. Does not last the 6 hours doc said it should last, last more like 4 hours. Overall I recommend this drug for lower back pain.

Does not releive my back and joint pains completely, but does curb the pain if I am able to dose before the pain becomes severe. Yet it does nothing for headaches due to stress from the periods of pain itself. I made several mistakes pertaining to the use of this drug before reveiwing the information available here covering the use and effects of how I should use this prescription. This knowledge has enhanced the effectiveness noticably.

Just as helpful as eating an m&m. I don't it is necessarily the medications fault as I have been taking so much pain meds over the last 15 years. My body seems to build a high resistance to most any meds quickly.

I take it (half of a 500mg Vicodin)occasionally for serious back/bone pain. Lets me go to sleep but I feel somewhat zoned out for part of the next day.Only have to use it 5 or 6 times a year. Percocet works great but I am concerned about the bad things I hear about people getting hooked on that.

I have a kidney stone, my fourth. I've been taking this hydro/apap 5/500 and it hasn't worked at all. I take two of them, have very little relief and go on to work driving a 40-ton commercial vehicle. I suggest to anyone needed pain relief, ask your doctor for a stronger dosage. I'm calling mine in the morning for one.

This is often prescribed after hospital treatment of kidney stones, but is not so effective in the strength. However, it does take the edge off.
