Extremely dry mouth - metallic taste plus water tastes sugary. After 10 days of a two week course suddenly had rectal bleeding (never had this before). Stopped taking tablets and will revisit GP if necessary. This treatment was combined with decongestants which may also have side effeccts. I am not any other medication and have not taken antibiotics for at least 15 years.
