I was given this to use for my corneal dystrophy in addition to other drops. I have to say that they do burn quite a bit for a few minutes after putting them in. I use them at night so any side effects are diminished when I wake up. I can see distance only after using the drops, as well.

After eye surgery to replace the vitreous fluid in my eye: I tried the drops before without any problem but after the surgery this stuff burns and stings badly. Scary painful.

I experienced severe heartburn the afternoon and evening after the morning of having my eyes dialated for optometric examination. I also coughed up little specks of blood the next morning.
