BEWARE - If you have any impulsive urges, compulsive gambling, stop taking this immediately. I took this medication for about 5-6 years and had never been a gambler, even lived in Vegas and hardly played. With this medication, I lost my marriage, my business and perhaps a million bucks. It works for RLS, but just be aware of this rare but devastating side effect.

I tried this drug for RLS and it didn't help the restless legs at all. Worse yet, it gave me terrible dreams. I also noticed mood change (felt irritable, uncomfortable for no reason) each time I tried it. I decided not to take it again due to these side effects and because it didn't seem to help with the restless legs.

Been taking for 2 yrs. Dose increased to 3mg/day with huge benefits. I am able to ambulate faster, more balanced, less pain and my memory is significantly better. My kids say that I don't have a frozen face anymore too.

the side effects are horrible

I started taking it many years ago, I thought it was a miracle my RLS was in check does needed to be increased a couple of times but then they started giving me generic. The pill sizes got smaller? and the results it was less effective.

did not help at all

i am on .125mg of this medicine. and have been for a couple of years now.and according to my wife it doesnt do the job. i take this for rls.my prescription is 2 tablets twice a day. i just took 4 tablet in hopes it helps me sleep tonite. along with it i also took a muscle relaxer. i'm desperate for a good nites sleep.

I recently started taking this for my RLS. I had RLS symptoms every night. From the 1st night I took Mirapex, I have had no RLS symptoms. It has worked better than I expected. For the side efects, I am somewhat more tired, but take the pill at night to reduce the effect on my life. I have a lot of energy and find I am less hungry than usual. I am very happy with this drug and would recommend it for treatment of RLS.

I have restless legs and this med is awesome! It works for me! I will never be withou this med for I can't sleep , legs hurt so bad without it! I take around 5:30 everyday and at night I have no problems! Great med for restless legs!

i just started this drug. It has helped e from shaking. I'm glad I was put on it.

Causes severe gambling urges! Reduction in sex drive.

I have had RLS for most of my life, as a teenager I remember having to rub my feet on the carpet to relieve the discomfort. It only bothered me occasionally until about 5 years ago when it was keeping me up most nights. The Dr prescribed .25 mg, but for the first couple of years I only needed 1/2 of that. i am still on .25mg and as long as I take 1 1/2-2 hrs before bed, I have no RLS symptoms. I recently took a trip and forgot my mirapex and did not sleep for 5 nights in a row. This drug has saved my sanity, as I know I can get a good nights sleep.Read More Read Less

Amazing relief of my severe restless leg syndrome; however, on 2-3 occasions the med did not work until I had taken at least 3 tablets which then made me nauseated and dizzy. One time did not work at all and had to deal with RLS.

mirapex is my miracle drug, worked fantastic, However NOT WORTH THE SIDE EFFECTS. Gambling has ruined my life.only started after starting Mirapex. If you even start to notice a problem, get off it right away.I just switched to Requip. Im keeping my fingers crossed

I was given this for restless leg syndrome and started having hallucinations, trouble sleeping, swollen legs and falling a lot without knowing why. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone who lives alone.

This drug has been a life saver for me. I would give up food & sex before I gave up Mirapex.

I have Restless leg syndrome it works very well but now it's on backorder and and the pharmacys in the whole town. Can't get it I'm so upset the doctor put me on something else and it's not working its so bad I'm up all night why is this drug on backorder I'm so mad
