The 1st time I took this I was horribly sick. I took it the 1st time and threw up, took it again and threw up. So I had to call the doctor who told me to cut the pill in half and take every 6 hours. I then always took it with a spoonful of applesauce. Well the meds worked and whatever I had cleared up and I felt much better. They did taste horrible though. I am currently on them for a second time and I'm on them for an extended period of time... (5 weeks) but I can swallow the pill whole with water and I am fine. To not get nausea it helps to eat a full meal or 1/2 a full meal before hand. Has not helped since I have been on this meds for 6 days. Complaints are the same and only multi-symptom cold/flu night meds have helped me get through the night. Feel like throwing up ... pill has bitter taste and stays at the top of my throat. Having to take prevacid. Not helping!

After a few days of taking this drug I already feel the difference. The pill is awful to take, it has no coating and the taste lingers no matter what you drink it with. I dipped the pill in chocolate pudding and took it that way, it worked like a dream, no aftertaste. Do not let this pill linger in your mouth, you will be sorry !!! apart from that it works! Hopefully they will put a coating on the pill in time.

This medicine has been very effective, it's cleared up my bronchitis very well. My doctor told me to take this medicine with food, but not just a glass of milk since it would give you a yeast infection. The pills are very, very bitter with an awful taste that lasts for a long time if you touch it to your tounge. Make sure to have plenty of water on hand to take them with. I've found that taking a small sip of water--holding it in my mouth, and tilting my head back and throwing the pill in the back of my throat works best. This medication works effectively, but it is VERY difficult to swallow the pills; they seem to lack coating and given the size of the pill, they got caught in my throat each time. I finally resorted to breaking the pill in half and putting it in a teaspoon of peanut butter to get it down. Thankfully they helped me to feel better though! Now if only the pill manufacturers could put a decent coating on the pill so it could be swallowed easier.

It cleared up my sinus infection but I was nauseous the entire time. I would not take this medication again.

My strep cleared up fast, but two days after I have finished the medication my stomach is still up set. Everything I eat continues to run through me.
