I went to the doctor because I was at the end of my rope. I felt like I was in prison. I haven't been able to lose weight since the birth of my child 8 yrs. ago. I had my gall bladder removed 1 1/2 yrs ago. Having that removed caused more complications, not being able to eat a normal portion of food without it causing massive stomach pains and the runs.. So! for over a year, not eating alot with e...

Why isn't my comment positing? I gained weight on phentermine. I gave it a bad review so what do I have to say it's good in order for it to allow my comment. Ok I'll change to someone satisfied but in all reality it was a waste of money. I don't know how everyone is losing weight. I did lose my appetite which was great but I could sleep that night. I had to take it every other day so I could...

Ok, so I think that people who are stating that they didn't lose wieght on phen, were not using real phentermine! They have them under phenemine, phenemin, phentermin eithout e at the end and so on. All those meds are fake. I had problems with this because i purchased fake one on internet, rherefore it didn't work. Went to see.my PCP and got phentermine 37.5 prescription. In 3 months i lost 60 lbs. AlL i did i stopped taking sweets and tried to stay around 50 net carbs per day (you can always burn that much walking 5 miles) , i added 3 to 5 miles walk per day and started eating more vegetables. I did have problems with sleep first few weeks. But my doc said to take it around 6 am and that helped because i was going to sleep around 10 pm. Another good thing to do is eat apple when you thing you are hungry and nuts. Make sure you take oatmeal few times per week and dribk at least 3 l of water because your mouth will be dry. Good luck. And yes it works! Read More Read Less

4 days to go of my 3 month prescription. Start weight was 105kg . Lost weight quickly at first , 4 kg in the 1st week . My goal was to lose 20kgs and hit 85kg . With 4 days left I’m weighing 86.6kg . I removed all takeaway food and soft drinks Eg coke etc. I still drink my beers because I love my beer . I exercise a little but the biggest change was not eating crap . I can’t believe the weight I’ve lost and the ease that I’ve done it . Super happy and now the next phase begins ….. keeping it off . Read More Read Less

My doctor prescribed this in June and to date I am down 20.5 pounds. I am almost into the healthy weight and bmi range. I will say that I feel I'm starting to plateau and we are discussing an increase in milligrams. I wonder if the people who have left reviews stating they have not had any results got their medication from a pharmacy or bought it online. Pills you get from the internet, 99% of the time are sugar/fake pills.

Started taken phentermine I was 5ft 7in and weighed 275. Lost weight immediately with no side effects. Going on my second month after losing 35lbs. The only problem is my insurance will not cover the cost of this medication. I pay full price out of pocket, but it is well worth it.

Was taking 25mg every morning started feeling energized very first day (or should I say night because my doctor told me to take just before going to bed, I questioned him and he said yes) didn't sleep for 2 days. I took for 3 weeks. Felt jitters, nauseous, faint, kept forgetting what I was doing or saying and tried to let my doctor and his office know but they wouldn't listen to me. So needless to say I stopped taking the pills after 3 weeks of torture and am looking for a new doctor that actually cares what they give to their patients. Read More Read Less

It just worked! In 5 months I lost 30lbs. I got back to my pre-Covid weight. I am now working into my health habits of the past to keep it off. (gym, eating healthy and being active)

Also some dry mouth, lots of water is needed while on the medication. highly recommended.

I was skeptical this would work for me but after reading positive (fake I’m sure) reviews I decided to give it a chance. Huge Huge Huge waste of money!!!! This product whatever it is, did absolutely nothing help me to lose a few pounds. Watched my diet (low carb and sugar) and walked 40 minutes daily after putting in an 8 hour work day. I took two pills a day for 30 days, not one ounce was lost. Don’t make the same mistake I made by ordering this Scam Pill :/

I am in my mid-40s, and as a part of my regular blood work, found that my LDLs were off the charts. That coupled with my higher than average BMI, caused my doctor to discuss this medication with me. Could not be happier with the results. I take one 37.5 mg pill a day in the morning. Side effects have included frequent urination and dry mouth. That said, in four months, I have lost over 30 lbs (15% of my starting body weight), and my appetite is almost non-existent. This has caused my eating habits to improve substantially, which gives me reason to believe I'll be able to keep the weight off after I'm off the medication.Read More Read Less

I am a 5'6 female, 170 pounds. I was prescribed 37.5 mg of Phentermine, and I was instructed to cut the pill in half and take it as soon as I wake up. The first day I noticed increased irritability and jitters, which I expected as side effects. However, that night I did a rigorous workout, came home and showered, and then began to cook dinner. While cooking dinner, I noticed myself sweating and feeling a little shaky-- I checked my heart rate and it was 135! I laid down, ate a snack/drank water, and tried to keep my heart rate down for the rest of the night. After talking with my doctor, they said I could try again but cut the pill into 1/4 instead of 1/2. I will attempt to try again and update my review. That being said, it was extremely effective. I had no cravings or desire to eat at all. I cannot recommend it, as it was slightly scary to be cooking dinner and all of a sudden feel as though I was exerting myself like I was working out. I will try again with 1/4 of a 37.5 pill and update my review accordingly. Read More Read Less

I am really concerned from numb feeling in chest, that resembles feeling of pinched nerves. I also get burning sensation throughout my body. Has anyone else experienced this?

The worst med I have ever taken and I only take half of a 37.5 pill. So "hyped" the first few hours that everything I go to do, even reaching for something, is just stupid sloppy. And I dont mean shaky, I just can't explain it. And then I totally physically crash. I have never yawned so long and so BIG. You'd think I was trying to fit a watermelon in my mouth. I dont understand because the first day I felt nothing. The next two days I'm like THIS. My Dr. prescribed it for ADD. IDK, it was some sort of test to if this particular chemical would work for ADD without affecting something else. Forget it. Read More Read Less

After several years of trying to lose weight, my doctor prescribed Phentermine 37.5 for 12 weeks. I used the 12 weeks to increase my exercise, change my eating habits, and alter my mindset. I have lost 22 lbs and am now below my Weight-Watchers lifetime weight - I never thought I would see the numbers on the scale that I am now seeing! I cut back to taking the pills 3x per week, supplementing with L-Tyrosine, and have had no problem continuing to lose. Next week I will start 2x per week as I am working into maintaining the weight loss. I have had insomnia for most of my life, and a high resting heart rate, and neither of these were worsened by this medication. My BP is down, my energy is good, my libido has increased, and I have more focus than I have had in ages! Alcohol has no appeal to me anymore, and that used to be my major means of "stress relief". I feel like this medication is a tool to assist in changing habits and lifestyle choices. Knowing the limited amount of time that I could take it helped me to establish new habits and, although at first I was concerned about gaining the weight back once my 12 weeks were up, I feel confident that it will not be a problem. And I now have the energy to take up pickleball and pursue my yoga teaching credential! This has been a game-changer for me. Read More Read Less

I started this medication prescribed from my doctor hoping that I could lose weight. After 5 days with taking this I experienced real bad side effects. Heart racing, dry mouth, loss of appetite, moody, sad, angry, Trouble sleeping at night, nervous, etc.

Yes I lost weight, but I experienced bladder problems. I had less control over my bladder and would constantly need to go to the bathroom. It also led to issues in the bedroom. I took the meds for 2 weeks before deciding to stop. About 5 days later those negative symptoms went away

Started at 125kg. Had a good diet and worked out 3-4 times a week and lost 15kg over 6 months and then plateaued. Was stuck at 110kg +/-1kg for 3 months with no more loss. Doctor prescribed me Phentermine and noticed immediate appetite suppression and continued diet and work out plan. After a couple interrupted night's sleep at the start experienced little to no side effects. After 3 months concluding course I lost 17kg in total and couldn't be happier. Down to 93kg with a total net loss of 32kg. My next challenge is to now keep it off without it. Wish me luck.Read More Read Less

I've used this twice. First, my only side effect was dry mouth and I went from 180 lbs to 147 lbs from November to March. Then the pandemic happened and 2 years later, I gained back most of the weight. The second time, I did not listen to my doctor and took the whole pill instead of half. I had trouble breathing and heart palpitations, so I had to stop taking it. I did however go from 175 to 160 lbs from September to November. Please stick to what the doctor tells you to do or you will regret it. Other than that, I would try it again. Drink lots of water when taking.Read More Read Less

I started taking this medication again about 2 week ago. I was previously taking it in 2022 for a short while but I had some insurance issues and was unable to continue use. I struggle with weight loss due to PCOS. I’m a 5’6” 25 year old female. I had the dry mouth everyone talks about for about 2-3 days and I was definitely jittery as well for a couple days, but I cut out my cup of coffee and those went away. I’m not sure if the insomnia is from the medication or working overnights - or a mix of both but I hope that subsides. I just started a new job the same day I started the medication. I stock shelves so I’m walking non stop. Starting weight was 232lbs and I’m already down to 220lbs. 12 pounds in 2 weeks? I’ll take it. I’m sure I’ll hit a plateau eventually. But my calorie intake is under 1000/daily due to the medication suppressing my appetite and I’m taking roughly 20,000 steps a day. My goal weight is 160-170lbs. I will update in a month or so to see where I’m at. Read More Read Less
