I took 800mg motrin availible in Rx. for severe backpain associated with shingle symptoms. It works like a charm, but once it begins to wear off the pain returns instantly.

I would never use this drug. I would do 2 hours exercise. Then pop a 600mg. I could go another 2 hours easy. I would shoot it directly into my calves; I can go another two hours on the treadmill with it. But, It's oral. This med is a joke. I use morphine, and I'm going to start shooting steroids. If I ever find someone using ibuprofen; I'm going to turn them into the police.

I have been using Motrin ever since I had my 2nd child a year ago. I am nursing still and unable to take my migraine medication. It works most of the time. I usually will try Tylenol with a cup of coffee and after several hours if that hasn't helped, I then proceed to use the Motrin 800mg. The side effects that I am starting to have after taking it is: shortness of breath, difficulty taking deep breathes and sometimes my chest feels heavy after like someone is sitting on it. After talking to my mom who has been taking this for almost 2 yrs, was having the same side affects. so I am really cautious and only take it when it is absolutely needed.Read More Read Less

Motrin is the only medication that helps me with my arthritis...i have been taking 3or4 pills a day for the past 8years...no problems, after effects, or reason to stop...

I work at walmart. I am a manager there and I do alot of lifting and binding. Motrin helps my back pain which sometimes make me very sick at times. I am very please with the drug Motrin.

I take Motrin to combat the "flu like" symptoms associated with taking Betaseron injections. Motrin works will to keep the aches and pains away.
