    I took this medication expecting it to work within 6-12 hours, started working 3 hours later after bad gas and stomach cramps I had one hard small bowel movement. 7 hours after that, 1 more small hard bowel movement, and about 10 minutes after that I had strong, explosive diarrhea on and off for the rest of the day.     I have just started using them twice a day and wonder if this is too many as I am also taking ducosate twice a day.My feces are very hard but I don't eat much any more at the age of 80 years.

    the last time I took it....2 tablets at night and 2 tablets in the morning.........I got a lot of pain....vomited and liquid bowel movement. I noticed bright red blood in my rectum when I wiped. In the past I have always had good results.
