Having a strong family history of CAD and high LDL-C and low HDL-C, I started this product with my statin after having side effects with Niaspan. Unfortunately despite using 1500 mg per day of this product my HDL-C is the same as off of niacin. I think at least for me this product is useless. It caused no flushing which makes me very suspicious that there is little bioavailable niacin inside of it...

Used to raise HDL, triglycerides dropped dramatically as well (this was not expected but good!). HDL went from 19 to upper 30's. Tryglycerides went from 250+ to under 100. Took Niaspan for years then decided to try Enduracin. Worked just as well and was easier on the stomach.

In three months of using this product, my triglycerides dropped 50 points but they were also very high. Follow dosage instructions, take with food and notify your doctor if you get a bad rash/flushing with a higher dose.

My primary doctor was concerned about my cholesterol and triglyceride numbers 2 years ago and suggested going on statins to lower them. I decided to try Naicin (Endur-acin) instead and my numbers are down 20% in 2 years... back in the "normal" ranges. Easy to use and no side affects!

2 years of Tricor did little to lower my triglycerides, which were at a high of 615!! After I started taking Endu-Acin, at my next blood test I had dropped over 200 points. And today I can say that my triglycerides were within normal limits!!

Had to overcome a little itching nuisance, but doctor is very impressed with the improvements and was not a niacin believer.

I have taken other brands of Niacin for years. I switched to Enduracin because of my Doctors recommendation. I was taking 500 mg. twice daily. I've tried taking it four different times now. Each time I take it, I start experiencing a more rapid heart beat by the seventh day of taking it. I have tried to get back on it after stopping it's use for at least two months. Each time I start taking it, I start with the rapid heart beat by day seven. I just concluded my fourth attempt with the same negative side effect. Read More Read Less

No real flushing discomfort, but the product only delivered a slight lowering of my numbers.
