I got 10 mL for $15 with my co-pay. I was told to put this drop in my eyes 4 times a day for 10 days, along with lubrication drops every hour. This drug cost $217 for 10ml. (about an ounce). With insurance, I paid $70 out of pocket. Combined with office visit co-pays, this simple case of pinkeye has cost me $120 out of pocket. I can't imagine how much it would have been without.

Started with my normal seasonal allergies (itchy, watery eyes)in January '09. Used Acular drops and it seemed to disappear but flared up again in mid-April '09. Doctor said it was bacterial infection caused by tear ducts not secreting enough tears to flush the eye. This medication is wonderful!! Within 2 days of using, my eyes are back to normal but I will continue to use the medication for as long as prescribed. This medication is very expensive (over $100 for 5 ML--as much as Acular). I do not have a health insurance plan and had to pay out of pocket but it was well worth the money to get my eyes back to normal.Read More Read Less
