In the late 1950s, when I was three, maybe four, I fell face-first onto a very hot floor furnace; I tripped over my feet. Mama called the woman across the street, Helen. She came over with Unguentine, rubbed it between her hands to make it easier to apply, and put it on the burns. Although my Daddy thought I was scarred for life, the only time they show up is when I have a fever. Thanks to Helen and Unguentine, there are no scars. The furnace was turned up high because my 4-year-older brother had a childhood illness with a high fever. I wish I could add a photo I had Mama take of me back then.Read More Read Less

My father used to put it on the site of a bee sting or splinter & put a band aid on it when I was a child. The next day the stinger or splinter would always be found on the band aid. I have always extremely large swelled up & itchy mosquito bites. Last evening, I had a bad one on my neck.I put some on it several times before bedtime & was nearly gone & didn't itch at all for once. In the morning I couldn't even tell I'd had a mosquito bite at all. One more reason to love Unguentine!

Have loved this product for YEARS but a year ago out of desperation tried it on a yellow jacket (hornet) sting. INSTANT permanent relief ! !. Usually a sting like this itched and burned for a good 3 days. Now I'm sold on Unguentine for this purpose as well.

I have used Unguentine for years for burns. The hurting stops immediately and no blisters. One application usually takes care of it.
