Only took 1/4 of pill. 6 hours of being sick. Fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, numbness in face and arms. Horrible experience!!!

Weekness, dizzy,no appetite,muscular cramps, overall general fatigue. Tingling in extremities constantly. Not a good experience. Loose bowels also.

I have had a huge loss of appetite, extreme nausea, vomiting, extreme gas and discomfort, weakness, and now that I am done with the medication diarrhea. This has been the worst experience of my life. I have felt half dead for the past 4/5 days and will never in my life ever take this medication again!!

Had this prescribed by a new doctor subbing for my Personal Physician who was off for maternity leave. It was prescribed for a infected cyst on my back. It didn't work, now I have to go back in because I still have an infection in the cyst. This stuff was like eating a Brillo Pad. If it was part of my digestive tract, using this IRRITATED it. Worst stuff ever.

This medication caused my eye and face to swell; rash on my ears, and itching in my head, ears

Not sure if it's e. coli but I have a uti/prostate infection. This stuff handled the infection effectively but it's gnarly. Two days after I started taking I felt like I had the flu. I spent 36 hours in bed shivering and sweating with a 99/100 degree fever the whole time. Also, the whole I've been taking it, I feel off: lethargic, sleep-deprived and an assortment of odd aches and pains. Have a long talk with your doctor if he/she prescribes this. Thank you for all of your posts! I only wish I saw them sooner. I traditionally get a yeast infection whenever I take antibiotics but they are usually so mild that its something the Dr ends up informing me of, instead of the other way around, so now I religiously have them tack on Diflucan whenever I need antibiotics so it's not an issue, unnoticed though it may be. This stuff though... OMFG!!?! I took my first dose before heading into work and just a few hours into my day, I had to leave due to torturous and mortifying 'feminine' itching. It was so bad that I nearly got in a wreck on the way home. To put a finer (graphic) point on the matter; I would more willingly consent to have my fingernails pulled out with pliers than take this medication again. First day I used this, I thought that I was having a Blood pressure issue. Felt faint, dizzy and nauseous. This continued each time I took it. Neck pain and lower back pain started as well. Feel terrible, although I think (hope) the UTI is gone.

Infection in foot from bout of Gout. Drug was hard on my GI trac, even with a lot of water and/or with food.

Two days ago.....calf tightness, but no leg cramps

Allergic reaction. Swelling of tongue.

I've never had a UTI before. I called my doctors office after a painful night with no sleep. They did the lab work and gave me this drug. Within 4 to 5 hour the pain was gone and I felt much better. I realize that all people cannot take certain medications. But, personally, this worked well for me.

No problems here. I had a pretty severe UTI and I started feeling better within 5 hours - much better by the next day. No side effects for me If you're not having good results with this medication, call your dr and ask if they cultured your urine. UTIs are not all the same and some don't respond to certain drugs. And certainly, if it is making you ill, call your provider and ask if there is something else you can take.

I have had a double ear infection in both ears for 5 months, the antibiotics don't get rid of it. I have been sick the whole month of January, getting worse by the day. Unable to hold down food, constant diarrhea. I have another 15 days of the antibiotic.

Was prescribed for severe hand infection (tetanus shot was current). Developed headaches within 3 days of beginning medication. Nausea began about day 4/5, with such severe nausea and lightheadedness on day 7 that I was unable to attend work. Also interfered with thinking/reasoning skills by day 6. Called doctor on day 7 and discontinued medication.

No side effects, big pills

Its helped relieve some of the symptoms, but not all. Im on day 6 and my symptoms seem to be getting worse. Im nauseous, and i havent had much of an appetite since I've started taking this. Last night and this morning I developed a fever and lower back pain. Not sure if from side effects or worsened symptoms. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with medication.

Threw up several times and it gave me a terrible headache.
