My 4 month old son was put on Hyoscyanine Sulfati oral drops, for colic and it has worked wonders. I love it!

I have gastritis..I have been on this medication for two year..I take it when I have flare ups of gastritis..I have not felt any side effects from this.. I am not left feeling tired or sick to my stomach.. It is great for relieving the pain in my stomach

No change in my symptoms, I feel sick to my stomach after taking it a few minutes to an hour later.

Have had nothing but stomach pain and cramping since starting this medication 3 days ago. Is this normal?

I take Hyoscyamine to ease the pain of spasms in my pancreas. I find it to be very effective.

Was prescribed this for abdominal cramps remaining from food poisoning. I also have IBS. This was prescribed to take 30 min before each meal, and has helped tremendously. I no longer have the painful discomfort in my abdomen and after 24 hours don't seem to have any side effects.

I was on hyoscamine for 10 years. It worked wonderfully. I have recently been forced to switch to Hyomax (I heard it had never been approved by the FDA from a pharmacist) and had about a month of constant diarrhea. It may be because of stress in my life, but I never had that issue before.

I was eating only crackers and water for 4 months before beging diagnosed with IBS. I had a severe pain in my stomache (felt like a lead ball at the base of my rib case), and I normally did not have a bowel movement for a week at a time. Since taking this med I now have BM's at least once every 3 days and 95% of the pain is gone in my stomache. I am a new person! The only side effects I've had from the med is slight dizziness. I was unaware this med was being taken off of the market as I was just perscribed it 3 months ago. This was the only med my insurance covered. I'm a little worried about the effectiveness of the med I will be perscribed next as I am very happy with this one.Read More Read Less

I had been taking this medication 3 times a day before every meal. It decreased my urges to have a BM and has taken away most of the severe abdominal cramping. Within the past few months they stopped making it. Since then I have been prescribed Hyomax which is a similar drug in it's effects. Now that I know my trigger foods for I.B.S I have been able to use this medication more effectively.

i see no difference ,only, the pain has left i still have no appetite,and i still have some diareha.

I am very happy with this medication. I have gall stones, and the dr. gave this to me to cope with the paing till surgery... I am very greatful and not to mention it work very quickly...

Doesn't seem to help that much

trouble sleeping at nights, and oddly enough had increased sweating, not decreased!?

My daughter is using this medication for a spasmadic bladder. It seems to help the burning and the tenderness she gets sometimes when she pees or has the sudden strong urge to have to pee. This medication plus watching what she drinks ( NOT ALOT OF SOADAS OR DRINKS WITH ALOT OF ACID ) has made her feel alot better and I am glad to see her not up at night crying because she is irritated from peeing and has tested ( - ) for an infection.

I always took regular hyoscamine and the my dr. ordered the hyoscamine sulfate IR/SR Now I have had 2-3 daily acidents and constant diahrea. Is there so much difference between the 2 meds.

This medication helps so much how can the makers stop making it, when we need it so much just to have a good day. I have got more out of this medication then just medicated, I got my life back. I no longer have cramps, I have got to go back to work, Because the cramping and all that other stuff that comes along with IBS is now on longer an issue.

This medication certainly helped ease my irritable bowel cramping. The only problem is that it is now no longer available. Now that it is no longer available I know how well it worked.
