I have been on this medicine long enough my drug screen for the first time in three years came back positive for a drug that a cold medicine shows up in they send it off to a laboratory get it screened because I know I did not fail it! But the doctor that was treating me discontinued me. They never called me back and I have been having withdrawals they said this was a mild antagonist that they would be some side effects to it but to be honest I feel as if I was on a full antagonist. I don't understand maybe it's because of the demands of treatment but the doctor would not discuss me getting off the medicine unless I was with him for six months at least and then we'll talk about when I could be weaned off just wondering if anybody out there knows a little bit more of how hard it is to get off of this medicine versus a full antagonist?

I was an opiate addict for over 7 years and this drug has helped to turn my life around completely. My day used to be filled with ways to make/scam/bum enough money to get "straight." Now I hold down a job, am married, have a beautiful daughter and have the respect of family and friends that I so craved. I was an opiate addict for over 7 years and this drug has helped to turn my life around completely. My day used to be filled with ways to make/scam/bum enough money to get "straight." Now I hold down a job, am married, have a beautiful daughter and have the respect of family and friends that I so craved. It is kind of a pain to deal with the strips, especially since I cut mine into quarters to space the dose throughout the day, but otherwise is easy to use. The taste is pretty awful at first, but when you consider the alternatives you will get used to it. I am weaning off of it very slowly to help with the withdrawal symptoms, which mimic opiate withdrawal but nowhere near as strong. If you are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and want your life back... start this drug's program and save your life.

while suboxone has worked miracles on me, it has to be the worst tasting drug I have ever taken. The taste is nauseous and bitter. As long as you have candy or a cold drink afterwards I would highly recommend it to anyone with a narcotic addiction - it gives me energy and a renewed outlook on life, I am glad I gave up drugs and decided to join the human race again!!
