I have severe arthritus in both my thumb joints. Pain is nearly 24/7 and any work that I perform with my hands causes them to worsen. I have been dragging my feet to get the operations and now have about one month before doing my first hand. Nothing I've tried relieves the pain: Cortisone shots, Voltrane Gel, Bengay, Tylonal, etc. have all been tried and all have failed. I was in an old time Drug Store in a old, small Texas Town last week and remembered using Sloan's Liniment 50 years ago for elbow and knee and various other jock pains. I asked the druggist id he had ever heard of it and he said, I 've got some. He did, but neither he, nor I know if the current Capsaicin 0.025% and Turpentine oil 47% is the original formula, but it smells about the same and IT WORKS. Yea, it works . . . my hands haven't felt this good in a year. The harder you rub this stuff in, the hotter it gets. It started working within 15 minutes of rubbing it in at the drug store. Then when I got home I really rubbed some in and I was I happy guy. Sloans was in use before the end of the 19th century and actually was first used as a horse liniment.Read More Read Less
