This drug should not be given to children. It has not been tested on them. I have seen my patient get sleepy, drowsy, fall asleep standing up, et. on this drug. The FDA has no business approving an antihypertensive drug to 12 year olds. ***STAY AWAY PARENTS***

My 7 yr ofd son is described as ADHD ODD and Mood Disorder NOS. After trying many other things, this is the best result for us so far. He did get very drowsy in the beginning. We backed down and only use 3/4 mg 3times/day and made increases very gradually.

I am an ER MD. Just received a OCD Autistic patient who got this medication for anxiety and worked just the oposite. Patient quite anxious, tachicardic and ended up admitted to address his side effects. May be good as antihypertensive but the effects on this particular mood affected patient were the opposite as the intended treatment and quite dramatic.

I have developed a nagging night time cough since beginning the treatment. No changes at all with HTN
