I have taken this drug 50/25 strength for many years with great success in treating Meniere's. Now they have quit making the 50/25 dose and I have 37.5/25 it is not working, the symptoms are coming back. Help!

just have to urinate often

I have noticed a reduction in edema in legs and ankles but still have some problems with swelling - i take 37.5 dyazide daily - i have been on it for just over a month - my weight seems to change almost daily, sometimes gaining or losing 1-5 lbs a day

I have used this drug in combination with Lotensin to control my blood pressure for the past 15 years.

DAILY HADACHES FROM THIS MED.

I have been taking this medicine for several years now and at first things were great. Now, I am experiencing year round photosensitivity, itching, and swelling to my lips. It's quite embarrassing. I get such a bad sun rash until I have to add a steroid creme and sunblock to my daily regiment. I will be changing meds at my next doctor's appointment!

my blood pressure is under control with this medication but i have fluid build up in my lungs. I stopped using it for two weeks and and I still had the fluid

No side effects, successfully lowered my blood pressure, also successfully combated a water retention issue I had. All my levels are great and I'm feeling MUCH better.

Have taken this drug twenty years .Only problem I encountered was trying to use generic versions that my insurance company insisted on.I can only take the original and have to pay premium price but it's worth to not have side effects..Tell your doctor if you are using a generic instead of branded drug he prescribed because all generics are not equal!

Is there a smaller dose than 25mg?

Has severe water retention and lost 8lbs of water weight in one week. Don't feel like eating too!

hate the sensitive to sunlight hoping there is another one that doesn't have that effect

I am taking this drug for HYDROPS in the ears. It has helped but I now have toe/foot cramps, can't sleep and a bad back ache.

I have meniere's disease. When I first started taking this drug I was very weak and my body was tingley/numb. Then I started taking a multi-vitamin, calcium supplement and potassium supplement and I've been awesome ever since. This has really helped me and I recommend anyone on this drug take vitamins. It really makes a difference.
