I took Inderal for 30 Yrs. I started taking it when I developed atrial fibrillation. I had Rheumatic Fever and had my Mitral Valve cleaned out, I started taking 120mg lnderal a number of years ago.Two years ago I developed severe shortness of breath. I went through every heart test that could be given and they never could find the problem. I had catarct surgery a year or so ago and they said I had a low heart rate (50 beats per min..) I suddenly developed heart failure like symptoms - I mentioned my low heart rate to my cardiologist and asked him if could be the Inderal. He had me discontinue it immediately and I am a new person - no more shortness of breath and lots of energy. Such a simple cure that I am sure is often times overlooked. I feel medication review is so important and would have saved me years of misery. Read More Read Less
