I had been on anti-depressents (Sertraline) for many months and was beginning to have side effects of sexual dysfunction. I came off the antidepressants and started taking Korean Ginseng supplements. I feel they're doing just as good as job as Sertraline in helping me keep my mind clear. And my dysfunction side effects have subsided too, in fact, I feel an improvement overall on that side of thing...

I take lisinopril 40mg, Metoprolol ER100mg and HCTZ 25mg for blood pressure. BP under control. Took 1 capsule (500mg) every day for 4 days. After second day, BP came down very low. Discontinued BP meds. After 4th day, BP 80/54 , Pulse (over 100) and BP going crazy, very high one instance, then very low the next. Got scared. Started to drink a lot of water. I used Korean Ginseng extract for 3 months. I mainly planned to use it as a pre-workout supplement, but I ended up regularly taking some before going to my office to work. I have nearly nothing but positive things to say about my experience. My energy and mood were better than before, I had a breakthrough with my attempts to meditate (which was my biggest game changer), and I was also able to benefit from the anti-inflammatory properties which kept me from being sore after pushing myself at the gym. I took 4mg of extract per day, mixed in with my tea. That is probably the max recommended dose, and it is something I would not suggest doing with less than two hours before bedtime. Months later, I am now writing this from a position of greater strength mental and physical strength. As a trained martial artist, I like to think I would have gotten here eventually but this Ginseng certainly sped up the process. My only complaint is not with the products but with the information out there on them. It's hard to tell how long I should take a break for. My current plan is to go 3-4 months on, then drop it for a month. Read More Read Less

Honestly ginseng gives me insomnia at night so I stopped taking it..if ur gna take it take it @5am. For those looking for an alternative try Ashweghanda ..it’s an Indian supplement herb that similitudes ginseng but with less effects..plus it’s a testerone booster ..I started taking it before gym

started taking these for general well-being, maybe improve my energy levels. Results were mixed, no noticeable improvement in well-being. Initial head-aches, bloating, very low blood-pressure. I would not recommend this drug to anybody. Going for brisk walks outside helps with general well-being, and it's cheaper too.

This product lowered my blood pressure to the point of vomiting, which lasted for a week. AVOID at ALL costs! Did not help with my "general" wellbeing at all.

Since beginning this supplement, I have experienced severe chest pains and abdominal discomfort accompanied by extreme amounts of gas - feels like someone is tightening a leather belt around my chest/abdomen.

i took for relief from hot flashes and within two weeks went from multiple episodes of severe flashes daily to none at all. however, i have had headaches and as this is the only new supplement in my regimen, i think the ginseng is to blame. i would rather have the headaches than the hot flashes, though!!

Great emergy booster. Also gives a sense of wellbeing. Possible hair loss side effect. Still trying to figure out if this has anything to do with it.
