The only reason this medication is harder for me to use is because I am what is commonly called a "flutterer." My reflex to protect my eye by firmly squeezing the lid shut makes it hard to apply the drops. Other than that, I am extremely satisfied with this product. I use it to keep my eye free of infection after getting stitches removed. I had a corneal transplant a couple of years ago, and I only use the drops to prevent infection in my right eye. I also take a steroid drop to ensure that the donor cornea is not rejected. I always put the antibiotic drops in first and wait a few minutes before applying the other drops. My surgery and my recovery from which has been free of any major or even minor setbacks. I believe that since this medication works so well in keeping a transplant in ship-shape, it could be even more effective for use in the instance of pink eye, which only affects the recipient's original tissues (in most cases) as opposed to donor tissues which, due to their somewhat volatile status, are more prone to infection and other such inconveniences.
