Soganol was much better. I have definite reactions to one of the chemicals within (myochrysine) gold sodium thiomalate. Flushing, an internal hot feeling, pounding in my ears. Walking immediately after the injection helps I guess the walking get my blood moving and dilutes the gold quicker. Sitting still or not moving definitely brings on the worst reactions. I truly feel that soganol was removed from the market so that it wouldn't be a competitor to the biologic treatments. When I telephoned Schering Plough, soganol's manufacturer about securing a source for soganol I was told that they (Schering Plough) felt that there were more modern and effective drugs available and that soganol's discontinuation should not pose a problem. Of course the person on the telephone recommended a drug in which Shering was heavily invested. The new modern drug would only cost $4,000 a month plus doctor's visits compared to $40.00 a month doctor's visit included for the soganol injections. Wall Streets Rx for sick people.Read More Read Less
