It was used prior to a catherization to numb the uretha but did a poor of it. It burned and was not very effective as a numbing agent.

Used for pain relief - post radiation therapy. Previously, used morphine - various methods. Usefulness- minute! If you consume anything after taking this medicine, you immediately lose its "benefits". Recommendation - morphine is better.
