Deep wound on the palm of my hand which is a difficult place to get steri strips to stick to. When I used this last night before sleep, it enabled thewound to dry out which is what it needed! It also held the steristrips in place & they still are at work today!! Great stuff!!

Horrible itching, burning, swelling, and oozing on my face and arm for the past week after Mastisol was applied to hold adhesive strips over incisions following surgery for skin cancer on my face and forearm. This product is like napalm. It should be taken off the market.

Violent allergic reaction after breast surgery which created rash over most of my body, burning itching, and even with steroids etc took 6 weeks to recover from. Allergist test to confirm what I reacted from caused a similar (not quite as violent due to her using a very small amount) explosion of rash, oozing and misery over arms, back, chest.

I just had SI joint fusion ON 5/31/1. Underneath the bandage it was itching so badly, but I assumed it was from the healing. Removal of the bandage at my first post op appointment one week later was a 4 x 4 patch of red, swollen, blistering and oozing area. It had swelled so much it pulled the wound apart. I've had many surgeries in my lifetime and have NEVER had a reaction like this! The pai ... Show Full Comment

Had severe reaction to Mastisol liquid following a surgery. The skin where it was used became covered in weeping blisters., intense itching, couldn't sleep, spent most of my days applying/taking meds, using cold packs etc. Felt miserable. That stuff should be tested on every patient before applying during a surgery! !
