After almost two years of daily painful and disfiguring hives, not responding to any oral medications, we started Xolair injection. The results have been almost miraculous. From the first injection I have had NO hives and only an occasional itch. It is now FDA approved for chronic urticaria.

Life changing. I have had hives my entire life. I have been prescribed every Antihistamine know to man!I have tried all low histamine diets in an effort to control my hives. When my hives are bad enough I start Prednisone. 20mg a day is my dose that clears me up. I was on Prednisone for almost 45 days straight before my first Xolair injection. The Alergist stated my Xoliar injection will last me for 30 days. This 1st injection cleared me of ALL hives in less then 12 hours. This first injection lasted only 21 days. The hives returned a couple of days ago. I just ordered my second injection today. They inject 150ml in each tricet, 300ml total. There is a bit of bruising and soreness for a day or two but well worth it!!!Read More Read Less
