500mg every 4 hrs, no effect.
I still had major muscle tension and spasms just standing.
Still needed 45-85 min just to get out of bed after taking 2 and waiting 60 min.
T3's didn't take the spasms away but it does make the pain manageable, constipation is the side effect.
Tried analgesic opioid and had the best results with proper strength exercise, massage and stretching.

Was prescribed 750mg methocarbamol 3x daily, along with 50mg tramadol. All it does is take the edge off the spasms for awhile, but it definitely comes back with a vengeance before it's time for the next dose. I'm thinking the methocarbamol dose is much too little, and it doesn't last for 8 hours of relief. I'm going to ask my doctor to let me take one every four hours and see if
