    I was always in a fog. Experienced brain zaps (electric shocks). Went back to escitalopram and am feeling much better. Will have my thyroid levels checked to see if my MDD is caused by my thyroid being out of whack.

    This medication was extremely effective for 10 years. It did what it was supposed to do in controlling depression. I changed medications because I found out it wasn't working well with my body chemistry because of Genesight testing. If you have relied on cymbalta as much as I have, tapering off this medication was extremely difficult. Definitely experienced some withdraws and major headaches ... Show Full Comment

    I was started on this for major depression and was advised it would help my fibro. pain. After taking for 2 plus years, there were 3 occasions where I'd forgotten to take it at my scheduled time, 6 P.M.
