Currently on Dialysis for end stage renal failure. Monthly blood work up indicates phosporis leval to be normal. I chew 1 1000mg tab immediately after each meal and snack. Great product for keeping me straight!!

I grind the tablets in a coffee grinder into powder. Thus the taste is better, dosage is easier. And (maybe I am strange?) I really love the sweetish taste.

Home Hemodialysis patient. Phosphorus was at 11.0 while taking a Renagel pill then my nutritionist suggested I try Fosrenol (2 500mg chewable tablets with meals and snacks) lowered my phosphorus to 3.5. (range is 3.5-5.5) Taste like tums. No stomach problems or nausea. Love this product!

This is as bad as renvela. Started out just fine, but have chronic gas, stomach pains, and SEVEARE constipation from it, and that is taking only one or two a day.

My exoerience has been great. the medicine is easy to chew and I stay in range on my report card. I read the other comments and have some suggestions. When I crush the drud i mix it in apple sauce and it works great. My upset stomach and nausea got better with in 2 month and othe other peole on my shift at dialysis say the same.

Am trying to find out if anyone has experienced MONTHS of nausea and vomiting as a result of taking Fosrenol. At first, it was intermittent. Now, the N&V are occurring on a daily basis and I am scheduled for an abdominal sonogram next week. Could it be the Fosrenol?
