Due to insurance reasons I now take this instead of Tri-Norinyl 28. I didn't notice much of a difference except that about a half hour of taking it I start to feel somewhat like I have to throw up. I am hoping this side effect will get better soon.

I switched to Leena from my previous BC Trivora because it was causing me more spotting than normal and heavy periods. Leena has actually cause MORE spotting, 2 weeks' worth before my period comes. I know some mid-cycle bleeding is normal on bc, but not like this. Switching off of it immediately.

Switched from tri-sprintec to Leena and could only tolerate 2 months before switching back. While I did not get pregnant nor have any spotting, I was miserable. My acne was worse. I had cramps and stomach pain like I've never had before during my period. The worst side effect was my mood. I was sad and weepy during much of the month. Everyone is different, but this pill is not for me,

I love everything about this b/c except for the fact that it's a tri-phase and I really need a mono-phase. I've been fighting tooth and nail with doctor's office trying to get one made by the same company. For an entire week, they keep screwing up the order! It's hard to get norinyl from some pharmacies. But I know it will be just as good as Leena.

I have been on this medication for several years now. No weight gain noted after switching to this pill.

I gained 20 lbs from this pill!!! I started to get an upset stomach after everything I drank or ate and just wanted to sleep the pain off. I felt nauseua and my organs began to hurt, like someone was taking turns squeezing my kidneys, liver and intestines one at a time, alternating what to squeeze. I've never felt so much pain and wasn't sure what was going on. I had a colonoscopy, an endoscopy, a CT scan, ultrasound and obgyn screen, on top of countless blood tests. Nothing came back on any of my tests. I stopped taking leena to prep for my CT scan and 3 weeks later I felt 100% better! I told my doctors but they didn't believe me. If you are taking leena and feel like your health is declining, stop taking it for a month and see if you feel better!
